All posts - Set default printer per-layout programmatically
|
I am attempting to automate printing a large number of layouts to PDF using BioPDF. I have the BioPDF printer set as a Default Printer in Windows, but Manifold seems to remember what the previous printer was for each layout. In the script I am using, the "layout.print" line defaults to the printer that was used previously. Is there any way to force manifold to use the Windows default printer for all layouts when printing from a script?

I can't answer your question but I wonder why you print to a PDF-Printer instead of a using the ExportPdf object. [oops, your previous question answers mine.]

I submitted a suggestion to change the DeviceName property of the Layout object to Read/Write so that it can be manipulated programmatically.
