IronPython 2.7.9 is dropping .NET 4.0 assemblies, retaining only 4.5 (as well as .NET Core 2.0 and 2.1).
I wonder if this matters for interoperability with Manifold 8 or Manifold 9. (I don't know enough to know.)
Well, duh, no, since we have always used .NET 4.5 assemblies with Manifold when both were available. OK.
(In terms of the future, we will likely eventually move to .NET Core. This is not a big priority now, but sooner or later we will have to face the mess that accumulated with all the different directions of .NET over the years.)
IronPython 2.7.9 final has been released.
